Baja Haha 2006

The Baja Haha is a cruising rally that runs from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, about 800 miles
down Baja, the NW Mexician Coast and provides a bit of safety, and a lot of introductions
for first time cruisers. It's a fun sail!

We were fortunate to crew on Yohelah, a big solid Baba 40 sailboat, with our friends Rob and Teresa.
Yohelah is the Coastal Salish Indian name for the Eagle. We had sailed with Rob & Teresa in Puget Sound,
and Teresa kept promising Kathleen a sunny, warm, dry, down-wind sail. We finally got it!
Their website is Yohelah and it's always interesting to check
and see where they are now. . . We sure miss-um!

The Baja Haha traditionally kicks-off with a "wild" pre-Halloween party in San Diego.
