Here's pics from a very light-air little sail with my neighbors; Jerry, Sarah and Dave. Jerry had wind-surfed a long time ago, but had never been sailing! So I checked with my "favorite crew" Sara and Dave on Tipsoo, at the head of our dock. They have sailed with me on a number of Anacortes deliveries, a Tacoma trip, and local daysails - they are always so helpful! On the way out the North marina entrance we saw the steel Danish built, m/v Susan Gael, the latest Bjorklund family boat. It's a lot bigger than s/v Yare their steel 32'Tahiti ketch they took to Alaska, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and home. We went out to sail on a lazy Thursday afternoon, without race traffic or wind and had a social fun time. Jerry sure seemed to enjoy the boat time and learn as much as possible. Even with the spinnaker up, we never got the boat up to 2 knots! Oh well, it was still fun to be out on the water. No pics of the seals, smelly sealions, or the Dall's porpoises. As usual, I tried to get pics of both people and boats, and hope you enjoy them. Thanks All, Lee
