Here's pics from the Morgan 382, s/v Khamsin Survey, with surveyor Andy Carlson. David came out from Bozeman, eager to be sailing, with the Morgan high on his list. You may notice that the survey took place on two different days, both with struggles to get the boat started. On the May 28th Andy worked through the boat answering most of David's questions, and checking out the "Hasse" Port Townsend sails. We had to cancel the Seaview haul-out and rescheduled with CSR for June 3rd, The buyer David, was in Oregon for a big family reunion, but he knew Andy and I would take care of him. I wrangled my usual extra crew, Dave for the trip to CSR - we've done it a few times. It took all three of us, my Saab battery, cables, jumper battery, and Andy's jumper battery get us going! Yeah, we made it into the slings just before 11am! The bottom looked great, and I spotted Ned the CSR rigger who would be giving a talk to the cruising club. I found a few pics as he re-installed a mast, and then it was time to go. We headed back to the slip, noting the ship traffic and barge of derelict boats - ouch. Backing into the slip worked out well, and the boat was sold and closed in less than 2 months. . . Thanks all!
