The Puget Sound Cruising Club has a wonderful tradition, an annual Salmon Bake. After a high tide challenge in 2007 we've been meeting at the Hidden Cove Park on Bainbridge. Folks show up by boat or by road with grills, side dishes, and all the fixings. The club buys the salmon and club members step up to prep and grill. How many ex-Commodores does it take to cook the salmon? Thanks Shez! It's quite a good "feed", and supports the comment "We are an eating club with a sailing disorder". I enjoy trying to get casual active pics of everyone I can. It's always a treat to see cruisers who have been gone for months, like the Kuffles and Coles with boats in the Mediterranean or South America. Special thanks to Tor for helping get Steve here. As always, there's a few folks doing the "heavy lifting" Dave and Sarah were loading up, and we waited at the ferry. I caught a few shots of the WA360 race boats, the big gaff-rigged schooner Bay Lady, and we made it home just after 10pm. What a good day! Thanks all!
