Youngblood  |  Tipsoo Sail

Sarah and Dave Green, Shilshole neighbors, are doing a great job sorting out their Gemini 105MC, a 34' catamaran, and yesterday I got to sail with them-yea! After days of rain, it so nice to be out on a crisp blue sky day, with lots of wind. We reefed a couple times and did a few tacks, playing the waves and wind angles up toward Jefferson Head. Heading South, we let out more of the jib, and had a fast reach back to Shilshole, hitting 6.5 to 7.4 kts in 16 to 18 knots of cold wind. We What a good experience on their nice 34' catamaran.
